I cannot believe my baby is 2!!!
It's so sad, but also so exciting. We have really noticed that Harry is so much quicker with things then the girls ever were. He talks non stop and ask's millions of questions.
Harry is also a boy, and so with that there is hitting, pushing but he has the most biggest cuddles and kisses.
We love you very much little man xxx

Women @ Well.

Last weekend I was away with some, well I think there were 80 ladies from my church. This is the 2nd time I have gone to one of these camps.
Well the topic was on 'Friends'...and it was the most uplifting, encouraging and inspiring weekend I have had for a while and something I really needed...spiritually. The accommodation was great, the people were great and the food was...well ok :)
I am so glad I got to go, and am soooo looking forward to the next one.

Project...kid's 'weekly' chart.

I am on a mission...yep, I have an idea and have relayed it to my darling hubby...now we just have to get the stuff. The last week I have been thinking about doing a BIG weekly chart for the kids. I have looked on the net for idea's, spoken to other mum's...but Matt and I decided that we are gonna have to make our own.
So...I don't think i will complete it this week, another busy and exciting week ahead...but it's in progress...I am so excited too! So keep your eye out, and I will post up some pics soon.

Gran & Pa.

I just wanted to write a post of these 2 amazing people. These beautiful faces are the parents of my husband. A long time ago, in fact nearly 15 years ago we met...and wow lotsa things have happened in that time.
My in-laws are the in-laws everyone wants. They have been here for Matt and I and now they are always around for our 3 little ones, who just adore them!
Why do I love them:

• They helped me many years ago when things were tough with my family.
• They have loved me unconditionally.
• They have never just 'spoken' their' minds.
• I can talk to either one of them about 'anything'.
• My kids just love them to bits!
• They are willing to help us in anyway possible.
  
• I look up to them...spiritually.
• They are encouraging.
  
• They will do anything for me, Matt or the children.
• We love spending time with them, we have had a fair few weekends up at Kendell Cottage and a coupled of holidays away.
• They are just the 'best'.
• I just LOVE them both dearly.

Matt bought me a new camera at the end of last year...so I have been happily snapping away, and now I have found this new programme which I am loving. Still learning lotsa tricks etc...but here are a few layouts...

1. WAS YOUR FIRST PREGNANCY PLANNED?
Yes, well I spose. It was our 4th attempt at IVF..

2. WERE YOU MARRIED WHEN YOUR CHILD WAS BORN?
Yep, happily for 5 years and 3 months.

3. WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS?
Shocked, surprised, scared, excited. It took 4+ years...so it took a while for it to all sink it.

5. HOW OLD WERE YOU?
28 years old.

6. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT?
Flinders Reproductice CLinic phoned me at work...and I have to work the rest of the day as per normal. On my way home I got some helliums baloons and when I got home I attached a size 00000 yellow jumpsuit to it to surprise Matt! As for finding out it was twins, we found out at an 8 weeks scan...Matt was thrilled I was speechless.

7. WHO DID YOU TELL FIRST?
Matt obviously, but we told our parents a couple of weeks later.

8. DID YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE SEX?
Yes, cause I really wanted a girl! We knew one was a girl, so I was happy...and I got blessed with 2!

9. DUE DATE?
9th December 2005...but they were delievered 2 weeks early.

10. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS?
Just till the 14 week mark, no vomiting thank goodness, but all day nausea.

11. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE?
Oranges.

12. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST?
People who said ' oh twins, you poor thing' and just people who think they know it all. We were lucky we have good babies who slept 8+ hours from 7 weeks.

13. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CHILD'S SEX?
Twins...2 girls!

14. DID YOU WISH YOU HAD THE OPPOSITE SEX OF WHAT YOU WERE GETTING?
Nope. I wanted either 2 girls or a girl and a boy.

15. HOW MANY KILOS DID YOU GAIN THROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY?
Bout 10 kgs. Lost it within 2 weeks of having the girls...

16. DID YOU HAVE A BABY SHOWER?
Yes.

17. WAS IT A SURPRISE OR DID YOU KNOW?
No, I knew. Was at my house with lots of friends and family. Got spoilt rotten!

18. DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY?
No, just one. At our 12weeks ultrasound they said our smallest twin (Liv) wasnt going to make it and I would misscarriage...she obviously had other plans.

19. WHERE DID YOU GIVE BIRTH?
Flinders Medical Centre...and I thought they were great!

20. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOUR?
Zilch...c-section.

21. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL?
Well I was already in hospital 5 days prior with a rash. I was allowed out the day before to 'get things' from home, but actually went home and did housework...yes the vacuuming, mopping, washing etc.


22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH?
You mean who saw me being cut open. Well my darling hubby who spent most of the time on the floor, and hence I have to keep reminding the nurses and dr's that it was me having the babies. Otherwise we counted 28 people...had to have 2 of everyone cause their were 2 babies...was very exciting though!

23. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION?
C-section, twins were lying across my tum.

24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN?
Epidural...and they overdosed...so I cannot remember past recovery...all a blur. And also they forgot to gie me the anti-nausea drug, so was vomiting for hours...was great just after having your stomach cut open!

27. HOW MUCH DID YOUR CHILD WEIGH?
Liv 5p 4oz & Tana 7 1/2p


28. WHEN WAS YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY BORN?
Thursday 24th November 2005 @ 9.33am and 9.35am.

31. HOW OLD IS YOUR FIRST BORN TODAY?
3years and 3 months.

About me.

I am always... cleaning...it is very satisfying and I find it relaxing.
I am... a mother to 3 beautiful children.
I think ... allot...about lots of things.

I know... things will be ok...I just have to have faith.

I want...my children to learn about God, but also not cotton-wool them from the 'world'.

I have... a loved heart birthmark...honestly!

I wish... I could move to QLD...just for a year.

I hate... ohh I dont like this work, it's so harsh.

I miss ...my children when they aren't with me.

I fear ... anything that could happen to Matt or my babies.
I feel... atm I am coming down with a cold.

I hear... the children playing nicely.

I smell... not allot as I am sick.

I regret... not taking up 2 job offers I have had.

I love... being a mum, wife and a sister in Christ.

I care... about what other's think about me.

I always... have a system to when I do the housework.

I believe... in God!

I dance... all the time...and love dancing with the kids.

I sing... well try too.

I'm a bit... lazy in cooking...I know I could be better, I just done like it.

I write... allot of list...otherwise I cant function properly.

I win... on how many vacuums I have burnt out!

I lose... the twins clips all the time, we don't have allot of 2 the same anymore.

I never... finish my meals or drinks, there is always a tiny bit left on the plate or in the glass.

I listen... to music when the kids are napping in the afternoon.

I'm scared of... spiders.
I read...not enough, but am about to start getting back into it.
I am happy... because its my day off...and happy because I feel truly blessed with what I have...others should too!
